The Marion County NFL Flag 2024 Combine will be this Saturday January 13. The only players who should attend are those in the Recreation, 6U Coed, and Girls Divisions (There is only 1 6U Division). Players who should NOT attend are those playing in the Competitive and 15U Boys Divisions. In addition, if you are playing in Recreation, but already protected by a specific coach for their recreation team, you should also not attend the combine. Please do not email asking if your child has been protected. Your coach would notify you if your child has been protected.
If you are not sure if you are in the Competitive or Recreation divisions then you can simply login into your account you used to register on our website at our website: Marion County NFL Flag Website and check what Division your child is in there. If you would like to switch your child's Division then please email us ASAP as there will not be anymore switching once the combine and draft commences.
Below are the time for the combine. Please arrive 30-60 minutes prior to your scheduled combine timeslot for check in:
Session 1: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM | 6U Coed, 10U Rec, 10U Girls
Session 2: 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM | 8U Rec, 12U Rec, 12U Girls
Session 3: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM | 14U Rec, 15U Girls
If you can not make it to the combine it is not a problem. Every child will be placed on a team.
Coaches, upon arrival you will receive an evaluation sheet with all of the kids names in the draft pool for your Division. Every child will be given a name tag with their name and age group written on it.
The draft for these divisions will be on January 15. Parents will be notified by their coach by January 17 for what team they are on. We will do our best to accommodate those who have requested to be on certain friends or family members teams due to ride issues. So far all of the requests that have come in so far seem to be just fine.
Parents, keep in mind, just because you request a certain coach, does not mean you will get that coach. All coaches must confirm with me who is a protected player on his team. As long as that coach confirms that they want your child as a protected player then we will honor the request at that point.
